Presidents Report
Welcome to the 2010- 2011 nipper season. In a short space of time we will be on the beach enjoying nippers again. I hope every family has had a nice off season – and are ready for a fun filled summer at the best nipper club in the world – Elouera!
We have a big bunch of things planned including some well structured education that will prepare our precious nippers to look after themselves and their friends in the water and on the sand. Rescue instruction, CPR, surf awareness lessons and plenty of healthy competition in the water and on the sand is on the agenda. Not to mention plenty of social activities for the kids and the grown ups!
In the off season the committee has worked hard in putting together an a new nipper training program that will appeal to new nippers, and nippers that will compete at the highest level at carnivals. The program will complement normal nippers and allow training activities, for board training and surf swimming in the surf, and on the track, as well as R @ R, March Past and surf board riding.
Can’t wait until the first day of nippers on 10 October 2010. Be there!
